Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT certification required at hire or within 6 months.
• Texas Medical Board Radiologic Technologist certification required.
• ARRT-R certification within 6 months of employment start date.
• Basic Life Support within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Perform general diagnostic radiography across all age groups.
• Operate digital radiography equipment and PACS; ensure image quality.
• Utilize RIS/Meditech for scheduling and tracking exams.
• Follow infection control and universal precautions.
• Assist radiologists during procedures and obtain patient history.
• Identify equipment issues and coordinate repairs.
