Job summary

Parkridge Medical Center is seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform imaging procedures and support patient care in a diagnostic setting. The role requires completing an accredited radiologic technology program and ARRT-R certification, with BLS.

Responsibilities include delivering compassionate, age-appropriate care and operating radiology equipment to meet physician orders. PRN/As Needed schedule and opportunities within a major healthcare system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiological Technology Program.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• ARRT registered (ARRT-R).
• One-year post graduate experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• The Radiology Technologist is responsible for performing imaging procedures ordered by the physician.
• Provide quality patient care in a diagnostic/therapeutic environment.
• Demonstrate knowledge and skills to care for patient populations served, with attention to age-specific needs.
• Utilize appropriate equipment and procedures for the radiology department.
