Job summary

Inova Fairfax Medical Center in Falls Church, VA, is seeking a dedicated Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech) to join our on-site team on a PRN basis. The role supports imaging studies across fluoroscopy, trauma, ED, and OR, delivering high-quality examinations with safety and patient care at the forefront.

Qualified candidates will have graduated from an accredited radiography program, ARRT registration within 12 months, BLS certification, and at least one year of radiology training or hospital

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited radiography program.
• ARRT-registered Radiologic Technologist within 12 months of hire.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• One year of classroom and clinical radiology training; hospital experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates radiologic principles, positioning, and technique for optimal examinations while following safety protocols.
• Assists in teaching radiography principles to students.
• Communicates with patients to obtain history, consent, and ensure cooperation during procedures.
• Assists physicians in performing a variety of examinations using standard protocols and sterile techniques.
