Saint Joseph Health System is seeking a Radiation Therapist to join its Oncology team in Indiana. The role involves administering prescribed radiation treatments, preparing treatment areas, and coordinating with physicians, nurses, and physicists to ensure precise care.

The position emphasizes patient-centered care, safety, and collaboration with a multidisciplinary team to deliver life-changing cancer treatment. PRN/full-time coverage may apply and requires ARRT-T registration.

Qualifications

• > Education: Associate’s Degree in Radiography or closely related field; or completion of two to three years of occupationally specific education beyond high school in Radiation Therapy or related discipline.
• "> Licensure & Certification: Current registration as a Radiation Therapy Technologist (ARRT-T) required.
• "> Experience: Three to six months of related clinical training, orientation, or experience preferred.
• "> Preferred Attributes: attention to detail, patient communication, calm under pressure, teamwork, commitment to quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• > Administer prescribed doses of ionizing radiation using advanced radiation therapy equipment and techniques.
• "> Prepare treatment rooms, position patients, deliver therapeutic radiation treatments, monitor responses, and ensure safety and quality standards.
• "> Be an essential member of a multidisciplinary oncology team focused on delivering exceptional patient outcomes.
