Job summary

CORA Physical Therapy in Florida is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our PRN pool in outpatient care. You’ll provide high-quality, patient-centered treatment and support independence in daily activities.

You will work under a Physical Therapist, follow established plans, document care, educate patients and families, and collaborate with the rehab team. This role offers flexible scheduling and autonomy in choosing when you work while helping patients move forward.

Qualifications

• Degree from an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant program.
• Licensed or license eligible as a PTA.
• Outpatient experience preferred.
• A passion to learn, grow, and make an impact.

Responsibilities

• Provide physical therapy treatment per established plan as directed by a Physical Therapist.
• Progress patients safely within the levels of treatment.
• Consult with supervising Physical Therapist regarding progress and changes in patient's condition.
• Document all treatment and pertinent patient interaction per CORA policies.
• Provide education to patient and family regarding home programs and activities.
• Develop and maintain effective communication with patient, family and rehab team.
• Collaborate with teammates to grow your skills and clinic culture.
