Qualifications
Active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Kansas.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Responsibilities
Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
Monitor patient’s responses to the treatment plan.
Regularly communicate patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
Document services provided and patient response/progress.
Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
Assist with patient discharge planning.
Provide information regarding adaptive equipment and community support programs.
