Qualifications

• Active and valid Physical Therapy Assistant license in the state of Kansas.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plan developed by supervising therapist using appropriate modalities.
• Monitor patient’s responses to the treatment plan.
• Regularly communicate patient progress and possible goal revisions to the physical therapist.
• Document services provided and patient response/progress.
• Educate the patient and family/caregiver about patient deficits.
• Assist with patient discharge planning.
• Provide information regarding adaptive equipment and community support programs.
