Job summary

Southeast Health in Alabama is seeking a part-time staff physical therapist to evaluate and treat patients referred by physicians, spanning infancy to geriatric populations, in accordance with the Alabama Practice Act and APTA Code of Ethics.

This PRN/Per Diem role requires a BS (or basic Master's) in Physical Therapy and current Alabama licensure eligibility; preferred one year of acute care or rehab experience, with strong English communication.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science or basic Master's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Eligible for current licensure in Physical Therapy in the State of Alabama.
• Preferred: One (1) year of experience in an acute care or rehab setting.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and provide quality Physical Therapy treatments to patients referred by a physician.
• Serve across age groups from infants to geriatrics in keeping with ethical standards.
• Maintain effective communication in emergencies and everyday clinical situations.
