Job summary

McCallum Place Eating Disorder Centers in St. Louis, MO is seeking nurses to join their PRN shift roster (Nights or Days).

The role focuses on assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, educating patients and families, and ensuring accurate medical documentation in a comprehensive eating disorder treatment setting. Qualified candidates will have an accredited nursing degree and an active RN or LPN license, with at least one year of nursing experience; psychiatric experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program
• Current RN or LPN license as required by state
• One year of nursing experience; psychiatric/behavioral experience a plus
• CPR and de-escalation certification required
• First aid may be required per state/facility requirements

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate care by assessing patients’ physical and behavioral health needs.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans.
• Maintain medical records and educate patients and families about health conditions.
• Provide nursing care within state professional practice act and facility policies.
• Accurately administer medications and document controlled substances.
• Complete admission and discharge processing efficiently and accurately.
