Job summary

Clarion Psychiatric Center in Clarion, PA seeks a PRN Psychiatric NP or PA to provide flexible on-site coverage. The primary need is for Sunday coverage with one weekday per week, plus potential holiday/PRN hours.

You will join a multidisciplinary team serving psychiatric inpatients aged 10 and up, focusing on collaborative care and continuity of treatment. The position offers a no on-call requirement with flexibility to pick extra PRN shifts based on availability and interest.

Qualifications

• PRN NP or PA with active Pennsylvania license.
• Experience with psychiatric/inpatient care preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Willingness to cover Sundays and additional PRN shifts.

Responsibilities

• Perform admission histories and physicals as needed
• Evaluate and manage routine and urgent medical concerns for psychiatric inpatients
• Review laboratory and diagnostic results and place orders within scope of practice
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, nursing staff, and facility leadership
• Support continuity of care in a structured inpatient psychiatric setting
