Job summary

The Recovery Village Palmer Lake is seeking a compassionate PRN Psychiatric & Family Nurse Practitioner to join our behavioral health team in Palmer Lake, Colorado. You will conduct psychiatric evaluations, develop treatment plans, and manage medications in a physician-led setting focused on evidence-based addiction and mental health care.

Flexible scheduling includes weekend coverage and on-call telephonic shifts, with a multidisciplinary team and adherence to ASAM criteria and Joint Commission

Qualifications

Graduated from an accredited Nursing Master’s Program with a Family Nurse Practitioner or higher and a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner degree.
Experience in Addiction Medicine or Primary Behavioral Health preferred.
Familiarity with ASAM Criteria and Joint Commission standards preferred.
DEA license to prescribe controlled medications and relevant training in Buprenorphine prescribing.

Responsibilities

Provide high-quality psychiatric and medical care within ARS standards.
Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations and assessments.
Develop individualized treatment plans and manage medications.
Assess risk using evidence-based tools (C-SSRS, PHQ-9) and monitor treatment.
Document accurately in the electronic health record and ensure compliance.
