A mental health organization in Myrtle Beach is seeking skilled Psychiatric Physician Assistants and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners for an onsite PRN role. The successful candidates will perform psychiatric assessments and treatment planning while collaborating with a dedicated multidisciplinary team to enhance mental health outcomes. Qualifications

• Licensure as a PA or PMHNP with psychiatric experience is required.
• DEA certification or qualifications to obtain it is necessary.
• Experience in mental health counseling preferred.
• State license to practice in good standing.
• Knowledge in health promotion, pathophysiology, health assessment and pharmacology.

Responsibilities

Ally Psychiatry is seeking dedicated Psychiatric Physician Assistants (PAs) and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners (PMHNPs) to join our growing team in the Myrtle Beach, SC market.

• This is an onsite IP PRN role, for occasional weekend coverage.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans. Manage medications for patients, including those with substance use disorders.
• Deliver high‑quality inpatient and/or outpatient psychiatric care.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure exceptional patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and compliant documentation standards.

Requirements

• Current licensure as a Physician Assistant (PA) with psychiatric experience or a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) in the state you are applying to.
• Board Certification as a PA or PMHNP.
• Must have DEA or have the ability and current qualifications to obtain it.
• Prior experience preferred in providing mental health counseling services within a clinical setting.
• Must possess a State License to practice and it must be in good standing.
• Must possess the knowledge base in health promotion maintenance, advanced pathophysiology, advanced health assessment and pharmacology.
• RRPA requires a detailed background check and drug screen for employment.
