Job summary

Eye of Illinois Surgery Center / Maryville Eye Surgery Center (part of Quantum Vision Centers and Eyecare Partners) is seeking a PRN Registered Nurse. The role offers a variable 0–2 days per week schedule and no benefits for PRN staff.

Work hours are Monday–Friday 6am–4pm with possible earlier or later shifts as needed. Requirements include a graduate of an accredited nursing program, active RN license in the work state, and BLS; ACLS preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Current RN license required in the state of work
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification preferred
• Minimum 1 year nursing experience preferred; new grads considered
• Experience in surgical/ASC/PACU/ICU or OR settings preferred

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement, and document nursing care per standards
• Supervise and direct patient care in the Operating Room
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and patient rights
• Report unusual occurrences to charge personnel and document appropriately
• Coordinate patient care and ensure timely, accurate medical records
• Participate in continuing education and staff meetings
• Support in training new staff and balance team workload
