Job summary

Menorah Medical Center in Kansas City area seeks a PRN Pre Admissions Testing RN to support preoperative workflows and patient education. You will work under the Clinical Manager/Director and partner with the care team to ensure accurate histories and safe medication reconciliation.

In this role you will coordinate testing, collect health histories, orders, results, and medication lists, and provide care per hospital policies and ANA/ASPAN standards as applicable.

Qualifications

• BLS certification required.
• RN license in good standing.
• Education: ADN/BSN/RN Diploma accepted.

Responsibilities

• Gather health histories, appropriate orders, results and medication lists.
• Deliver nursing care per hospital policies and governing standards.

Job Summary and Qualifications

Under the general direction of the Clinical Manager/Director, coordinates and provides preoperative testing and education. Responsible for gathering health histories, appropriate orders, results and medication lists. Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, the generic and unit structure standards and/or ASPAN Standards of care if appropriate.

What qualifications you will need:

• Basic Cardiac Life Support
• (RN) Registered Nurse
• Associate Degree, or Bachelors Degree, or Registered Nurse Diploma
