Job summary

Premise Health seeks a PRN Physician to provide episodic, preventive, and acute care at our Health Center in Winnemucca, NV. You will conduct histories and physicals, prescribe treatments, and develop patient care plans in collaboration with the patient and care team.

The role requires state medical licenses, a current Federal DEA license, board certification, and hands-on CPR/ACLS training. Occupational health work may be involved at some locations, with opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications

• Must hold all state licenses to practice medicine.
• Federal DEA license matching each state of practice.
• State Narcotic/Controlled Substance license if required by state.
• Current board certification (ABMS, AMA or AOA).
• Medical degree from an accredited program.
• CPR (BLS for the Healthcare Provider/Professional Rescuer) with hands-on skills evaluation.

Responsibilities

• Provides episodic, preventive, and acute health care to patients.
• May provide occupational health services in some centers.
• Conducts histories and physical examinations and prescribes medications per best practice standards.
• Develops treatment plans in collaboration with patients and educates on medical issues.
• Provides referrals to appropriate medical resources or specialties.
