Job summary

MainStreet Family Care is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant in Goldsboro, NC to support multiple clinics with fast-paced urgent and primary care services. This role welcomes new grads and offers flexible scheduling across various teams and sites.

The position includes varied duties such as minor procedures, radiology review, EKG interpretation, dermatology and GYN care, and care for patients of all ages in a busy clinic environment. Excellent communication and EMR proficiency are valued.

Qualifications

• Physician Assistant certification required prior to start date.
• Master's degree or higher required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• EMR and Microsoft Office experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Urgent care, primary care across multiple clinics in the region.
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals.
• Suturing and splinting.
• General orthopedic evaluations and management.
• X-ray review with Radiologist over-read.
• EKG interpretation.
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care.
• Treating patients of all ages.
• Emergency management in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities:

• Urgent care, primary care, occupational medicine, and telemedicine
• Minor procedures including toenail removals and foreign body removals
• Suturing and splinting
• General orthopedic evaluations and management
• X-ray review (with Radiologist over-read)
• EKG interpretation
• General dermatology, eye complaints, and GYN care
• Treating patients of all ages
• Emergency management skills in a fast-paced setting

Schedule:

• Shifts determined approximately two months in advance

MainStreet Clinic Hours:

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

KidsStreet Clinic Hours (select locations only):

• Monday - Friday: 8:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.

Hours are subject to change based on company needs, training, float coverage, etc.
