Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapist Assisting from an accredited program.
• Valid state licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant, or license eligible.
• Strong assessment, diagnostic and therapeutic abilities with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementing treatment plans designed by Physical Therapists; direct patient care.
• Monitor and document patient progress, educate patients and families on treatment protocols.
• Accurately document patient treatments and progress per facility policies.
• Collaborate with Physical Therapists and staff to ensure coordinated care.
