Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited PTA program and licensure exam.
• Must be licensed or eligible to practice as PTA in Florida.
• Prior PT experience preferred.
• Membership in state and national APTA preferred.
• Professional attitude and appearance.
• Proficient administrative and public relations skills.
• Thorough knowledge of PT principles, methods, materials, and equipment.
• Knowledge of potential hazards to patients and preventive measures.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective patient relationships.
• Ability to collaborate with medical staff and other personnel.
• Emotional stability to cope with job demands.
• Maintain patient and employee confidentiality.
• Knowledge of Medicare and third-party reimbursement preferred.
