Job summary

MedStar Health in Baltimore is seeking a Physical Therapist to join the Centralized PRN Pool providing services at all four MedStar Health Baltimore Hospitals with weekend coverage. The role includes evaluation, treatment planning, implementation, re-assessment, discharge planning, and comprehensive documentation.

Responsibilities include interfacing with the care team, adjusting plans based on patient progress, and acting as a clinical instructor or mentor to students and staff as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy.
• Maryland, DC and/or Virginia licensure as deemed necessary for location.
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide evaluation services, select treatment plans, and document results.
• Implement treatment protocols and consult with healthcare professionals as needed.
• Complete discharge planning and timely documentation of care.
• Mentor students and assist with orientation for new staff.
