Qualificações

• Appropriate education level required in accordance with state licensure.
• Must be licensed in the state(s) of practice as a Physical Therapist.
• When applicable, may require valid driver's license.
• Obtains and maintains required department competencies and certifications.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within 60 days of employment.

Responsabilidades

• Plans, organizes and delivers physical therapy programs to help residents recover mobility and reduce pain.
• Conducts examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents with injury or disease.
• Educates clients/patients/residents and families about treatment plans and home exercises.
• Demonstrates knowledge of age-related treatments and current research in daily practice.
• May supervise assistants or students and provide ongoing education to peers.
• Follows clinical guidelines and adheres to regulatory requirements.
