Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Physical Therapist PRN to evaluate and treat patients, develop and implement therapy plans, educate patients and families, and participate in discharge planning.

The role requires licensure as a Physical Therapist (PT) and BLS certification, with experience in documenting and coordinating care across the care team. On-site positions with flexible APRN involvement may apply.

Qualifications

• Masters' or Bachelor’s degree plus 2 years of work experience above the minimum qualification.
• Less than 1 year of experience
• PT license and BLS certification required

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, treats and monitors patients and adjusts therapy goals.
• Performs clinical documentation and accurate charge entry.
• Communicates with patients, families and healthcare team; provides education.
• Supervises ancillary staff, students and volunteers.
• Keeps up with literature and applies evidence-based practice.
