Job summary

HealthActions is seeking a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant to support our rehab team in Mobile, Alabama. The role focuses on applying prescribed rehabilitation programs to help patients reduce pain and increase mobility and function.

You will evaluate progress, deliver treatments (manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and assistive-device training), document care, and assist with discharge planning while maintaining safety and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in physical therapy assistant required.
• Annual CEU maintenance to stay compliant.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and interpret findings to guide PT plans.
• Deliver PTA treatments including manual therapy and exercises.
• Administer PT treatments and supervise assistants as needed.
• Track outcomes and adjust care using PSFS and FOTO.
• Support discharge planning and caregiver instruction.
• Document services accurately and maintain safety standards.
• Maintain equipment and contribute to staff education.
