What you will do in this role:

1. Provide quality, compassionate care in a team setting within a secure environment.
2. Assist the Physical Therapist by implementing the patient's Care Plan for rehabilitation, helping patients with mental and/or physical impairments participate in tasks to restore and enhance performance.
3. Communicate patient progress or issues to supervisors and team members; assist with scheduling and post charges daily to patient records.
4. Document patient care in compliance with regulatory, licensing, payer, and accreditation standards.
5. Instruct patients' families or nursing staff on follow-through programs.
6. Maintain equipment and work areas in a safe, clean condition.
7. Adhere to the Company's Code of Business Conduct, Corporate Compliance, professional standards, and applicable laws.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) program resulting in an Associate Degree.
• Current state licensure as a PTA or equivalent in the states where services are provided.
• CPR certification (if required).
