Job summary

Venza Care in Huntsville, AL is seeking a compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our therapy team in delivering high-quality rehabilitation services within our skilled nursing facility. This PRN position offers flexible shifts, including weekends.

You will assist patients with therapeutic exercises, implement treatment plans, educate families, collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, and maintain accurate documentation.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Physical Therapy Assisting from an accredited program.
• Current state licensure or certification as a Physical Therapist Assistant.
• Strong communication skills and a patient-centered approach.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and handle physical aspects of patient care.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities to improve their mobility and strength.
• Implement treatment plans developed by our Physical Therapists and monitor patient progress.
• Educate patients and their families about treatment plans and home exercise programs.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient treatments and progress.

We’re looking for a talented PTA to join our dynamic therapy team in Huntsville, AL in delivering outstanding rehabilitation services within our skilled nursing facility. This position is for PRN with flexible shifts, including weekends.

Pay:

1. $38-$40/ hour based on experience

Schedule:

1. PRN
2. M-F, 8a-5p, weekends as needed

What You'll Do:
