Job summary

US Wellness is seeking qualified phlebotomy professionals for PRN work to support biometric screening and health-promotion services nationwide. You will collect blood samples via venipuncture, label and transport specimens, and ensure strict adherence to HIPAA/HITECH and client-specific protocols.

Ideal candidates have licensed phlebotomy credentials, reliable transportation, and a demonstrated commitment to accuracy, safety, and professional service.

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Phlebotomist or Phlebotomy Technician.
Experience with effective puncture techniques.
Understanding of proper patient identification methods.
Knowledge of legal requirements about drawing blood, handling fluids and equipment.
Ability to pass a background check.
Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

Find veins suitable for puncture.
Obtain blood specimen by performing venipuncture.
Draw blood using sterilized needles and vials.
Label samples correctly and send or deliver them for testing.
Maintain quality results by following procedures and schedules.
Follow HIPAA/HITECH guidelines and infection control procedures.
Provide excellent customer service with professional demeanor.
