Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a Pharmacy Technician training program, and a CPhT license. Fluency in Spanish preferred. Typical hours are on-site with flexible PRN scheduling.

Qualifications

• MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: High school diploma or GED.
• PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: Graduation from a pharmacy technician training program; Experience in a pharmacy or clinical setting; Knowledge and experience documenting patient care in an electronic health record and/or pharmacy dispensing software preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates competence in managing pharmacy workflows including dispensing, information systems, and inventory management.
• Maintains a system for medication storage and security.
• Manages medication recalls and backorders.
• Connects patients to medication assistance resources including patient assistance program applications.
• Collaborates with the prior authorizations team.
• Assists pharmacists and other clinicians with medication histories as requested.
• Performs medication refills using a standardized protocol.
• Support learners in the pharmacy department.
