Job summary

Banner Rehabilitation Hospital in Peoria, AZ is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to join our inpatient rehabilitation team on a PRN/per diem basis. You’ll support pharmacists in dispensing medications, prepare IVs, and manage dose labeling under supervision.

This hospital partnership with Select Medical values patient-centric care and a strong orientation to teamwork. The role requires a high school diploma or GED and state registration as a Pharmacy Technician; 1–2 years’ experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Current State Board of Pharmacy Registration Certificate as a Pharmacy Technician required by state requirement.
• 1–2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in providing medications to patients under direct supervision.
• Fill medication cassettes under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Prepare IV medications under direct supervision of a pharmacist.
• Print and fill label requests for first dose or stat medications.
• Deliver supplies and medications to other departments as needed.
