Job summary

Texas NeuroRehab Center in Austin is seeking a Pharmacist - PRN to ensure all patient medication orders are filled as prescribed, maintain the pharmacy work area and inventory, and deliver pharmaceuticals to patient care units.

The role requires a Texas Pharmacy license, ACPE-accredited degree, and at least one year in hospital pharmacy. You will support the multidisciplinary treatment team and ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Graduate of an ACPE-accredited College of Pharmacy with a BS degree or Pharm.D.
Current Texas Pharmacy License
At least one year experience in hospital pharmacy preferred
Ability to communicate effectively with multidisciplinary treatment team
Strong organizational, verbal and written skills

Responsibilities

Fill patient medication orders as prescribed by physicians for patients of all ages
Maintain pharmacy work area and pharmacy inventory
Deliver pharmaceuticals to the patient care unit
Maintain all required legal and billing records
Provide pharmaceutical care to all hospital patients
Supervise overall operation of the pharmacy in conjunction with Regional Pharmacy Coordinator
