Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or PharmD required.
• State license to practice without restrictions.
• Minimum 1 year related experience.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Ability to excel in a fast-paced team environment.
• Medical consulting experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare medications for final dispensing accurately.
• Review orders and cycle-fill medications.
• Verify legality and feasibility of dispensing with patient safety in mind.
• Interpret prescription orders with professional judgment.
• Adhere to Federal and State Board regulations.
• Adhere to compounding guidelines.
• Transfer prescriptions when needed.
• Answer questions from patients and clinicians.
• Monitor inventory and place orders.
• Communicate out-of-stock updates to customers/facilities.
• Oversee technicians and provide feedback.
