Job summary

Mims Management Group is seeking a PRN Pharmacist for our Lansing, MI/janused closed door pharmacy. The role supports the Pharmacist in Charge and involves dispensing, order entry, and ensuring compliance with patient care standards.

Hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm with no nights or weekends; holidays are observed. The PRN pharmacist will maintain records, supervise staff, and participate in quality improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a School of Pharmacy; Baccalaureate or PharmD degree required.
• Current and valid registration and licensure by the State Board of Pharmacy.
• HIPAA privacy rule compliance must be upheld.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, labels, and dispenses medications for all age groups.
• Performs computer order-entry functions accurately and timely.
• Supervises and verifies drug distribution tasks by staff.
• Ensures patient safety and reduces healthcare errors in daily operations.
• Interprets medication orders and monitors drug regimens.
• Assists with adherence packaging and patient education.
