Job Overview

Specialty Medical Staffing has an exciting opportunity for a PRN Pharmacist to provide coverage at an inpatient behavioral health facility in Dothan, AL. This position supports pediatric and adolescent psychiatric patients and is ideal for an Alabama-licensed pharmacist seeking flexible PRN opportunities.

Schedule & Coverage Dates

November 2026: November 23, 24, 25
December 2026: December 21, 22, 23, 24, 28
Hours: 10:00 AM – 4:00 PM

• No weekends or on-call coverage

• 1–3 days of training prior to the assignment

• Local candidates preferred; travel expenses may be considered

Responsibilities

• Review and verify medication orders for accuracy

• Communicate with nursing staff regarding medication changes or prescriber clarification

• Restock and maintain automated medication dispensing systems

• Coordinate medication ordering needs with the Director of Pharmacy
