Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or Nuclear Medicine Technology program.
  • Valid Florida license in relevant technology.
  • ARRT (R) or NMTCB certification required.
  • ARRT (CT) or PET/CT certification preferred.
  • BLS Certification.
  • Experience with venipuncture.
  • Prior PET or PET/CT experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols.
  • Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly.
  • Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures.
  • Administer radiopharmaceuticals and contrast media per protocol and safety guidelines.
  • Monitor patients during tracer uptake and scanning procedures.
  • Evaluate image quality and repeat imaging when necessary.
  • Maintain PET/CT equipment and complete routine quality assurance checks.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and clinical staff to maintain efficient workflow.

Now Hiring: PRN PET/CT Technologist (Potential Full-Time) – Orlando, FL

We are currently hiring a PRN PET/CT Technologist for our new Orlando location, with the opportunity for this role to transition into a full-time position as the center continues to expand. This is a great opportunity to help launch a new imaging center while working in a welcoming, patient-centered environment that values your expertise and supports your professional growth.

Preferred availability between 7 AM – 7 PM with flexibility to work 8, 10, or 12 hour shifts as needed.

Position Overview

PET/CT Technologists at Precision Imaging Centers play a critical role in patient care by performing high-quality diagnostic imaging in an outpatient environment that prioritizes comfort, safety, and image clarity.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform PET/CT imaging studies following physician protocols
  • Prepare patients for exams and clearly explain procedures
