Novant Health Arboretum Pediatrics 51 is seeking a PRN Ambulatory Registered Nurse in Charlotte, NC. Schedule is as needed, Monday–Friday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, with Saturday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM availability.

Qualifications

• Education: 4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
• One year relevant experience, preferred.
• Current RN license in appropriate state Required. ACLS, PALS, BAT and DOT, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Room patients, obtain and document vital signs, medical histories, and chief complaints, and prepare patients for provider visits.
• Support providers by assisting with patient care, floating between providers as needed, and ensuring smooth clinic operations.
• Manage EMR in-basket tasks, including patient messages, prescription refill requests, lab results, and provider communications.
• Perform laboratory duties, including specimen collection, processing, and documentation, and administer vaccines according to established protocols.
• Utilize clinical assessment skills to perform telephone and in-person triage, prioritize patient needs, and provide appropriate guidance and care recommendations

Education

4 Year / Bachelors Degree
