Job summary

Southeast Georgia Health System Inc / SGHS is seeking a Patient Care Technician for the Brunswick campus on-site. The role supports licensed nurses in daily patient care, prepares rooms, assists with ADLs, and helps maintain a safe, clean environment.

This PRN Tier 1 position is part-time, with a pay structure based on experience and shift differentials. Expect 16–48 hours per week, including weekend and holiday coverage, and the opportunity to enhance clinical skills within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum of six months' successful CNA experience.
• Validated and successful completion of SGHS CNA competencies.
• Georgia Nursing Assistant Certification required.
• American Heart Association BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Assist patients with activities of daily living and basic nursing tasks.
• Provide general patient care under licensed nurse supervision.
• Prepare patient rooms and assist with admissions, transfers, and discharges.
• Monitor and document patient vitals and condition changes.
• Ensure patient safety and privacy at all times.
