Union Health is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PRN-On Call) for the Terre Haute medical-surgical unit. You will collaborate with RN staff to assess patient needs, assist with care planning, and perform medical tasks while ensuring patient advocacy and confidentiality.

Qualifications include Indiana CNA license or completion of Union Health PCT Training, plus BLS certification. Strong communication and teamwork are essential to support high-quality patient care and safety.

Qualifications

• Valid Indiana CNA license or willingness to complete Union Health PCT Training upon hire.
• Certified in healthcare provider BLS upon hire.
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with RN staff to assess patients' needs and report concerns.
• Assist in developing and modifying care plans, prioritize patient problems, and perform medical tasks.
• Provide patient education, follow policies, respond to emergencies, and advocate for patient rights and confidentiality.
• Evaluate interventions, maintain professionalism, and seek assistance when needed.
