Qualifications

• Paramedic certification and valid driver's license required.
• Current BLS, ACLS, PALS upon hire; ITLS/PHTLS certifications may be required depending on state.
• Maintains certifications and licensure for ongoing practice.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-hospital evaluation, treatment and transport for patients across age groups.
• Operate assigned ambulance in emergent and non-emergent situations.
• Maintain accurate patient care reports and shift logs.
• Oversee daily shift operations and supervise EMTs when assigned.
• Demonstrate age-appropriate care and interact with staff, EMS agencies and community.
