Job summary

Advocate Health's St. Luke's Medical Center in Milwaukee is seeking an RN for the PACU / Same Day Surgery PRN role. The position supports elective and urgent surgeries, requiring flexibility to cover 0 hours per week with PRN shifts and at least one shift per month.

Qualified candidates have an accredited nursing program, Wisconsin RN license, and BLS (ACLS/PALS preferred). Prior Med Surg/ICU/ED experience is desirable, with an emphasis on teamwork and patient safety.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Current Registered Nurse license in the practicing state.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification; ACLS and PALS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care using the nursing process.
• Utilize evidence-based practice and clinical decision making to ensure SAFETY and quality patient experience.
