Job summary

Wellstar Cobb Medical Center is seeking a PRN Staff Radiation Therapist for the Radiation Oncology Department. You will apply ionizing radiation to patients according to prescription and follow radiation safety protocols to ensure precision and safety.

You will deliver therapy to designated areas, assess patients with the oncology team, document in EMR, and participate in on-call rotations. An Associate's degree and ARRT Radiation Therapy certification are required.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree must be from an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Graduate from an accredited Radiologic Technology School (JRCERT) is required.
• Demonstrates ability to treat/simulate patients.

Responsibilities

• Delivers consistent precise therapy to a designated treatment area.
• Documents in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).
• Participates in on-call rotation and supports team as needed.
