Job summary

Emerald Nursing & Rehab Mercy in Omaha, Nebraska is seeking a PRN Occupational Therapy Assistant (OTA) to join our skilled nursing facility team. Under supervision of a licensed OT, you will help develop and implement individualized plans to improve daily living activities and overall rehabilitation outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in OTA program from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure or certification as an OTA.
• Experience in a skilled nursing facility preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of individualized treatment plans for patients.
• Provide occupational therapy services to patients under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist.
• Conduct patient assessments and evaluations to identify treatment goals and outcomes.
• Implement and modify treatment plans to meet individual patient needs.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress and treatment.
