Braces of McKinney is seeking a motivated Orthodontic Assistant to join our orthodontic team at our McKinney, TX clinic. The PRN position supports orthodontic procedures, prepares rooms, and ensures a positive patient experience in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has active RDA certification, X-Ray certification, and experience in orthodontics, with strong communication and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) certification.
• X-Ray certification.
• Experience in orthodontics.

Responsibilities

• Assist the orthodontist during clinical procedures.
• Prepare treatment rooms and patients for procedures.
• Take and process dental X-rays.
• Sterilize and maintain instruments and equipment.
• Manage patient flow and ensure smooth clinic operations.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and oral hygiene.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation.
• Provide excellent patient care and customer service.
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols.
