Job summary

Community Dental Partners is seeking a Traveling Registered Dental Assistant to support our dentists during treatments across Corpus Christi and San Juan areas. This PRN role requires reliable transportation and the ability to travel up to 100% of the time.

Role involves four-handed assisting, room setup, sterility, pre- and post-op panos, and assisting at the chairside for the oral surgeon. We value customer service, professionalism, and flexible, proactive teammates.

Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant licensing preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter with initiative and reliability.
• Customer service oriented with ability to build relationships.

Responsibilities

• Assist with consults.
• Set up sterile treatment rooms.
• Load/unload operating room equipment.
• Maintain inventory of equipment and supplies.
• Prepare rooms with assigned helper.
• Maintain sterile technique throughout procedures.
• Prepare pre-op and post-op panoramic X-rays.
• Escort patients to reception after procedures.
• Turnover rooms between patients.
• Provide four-handed assisting for procedures.
• Assist chairside for the oral surgeon.
• Monitor patients before, during and after surgery.

Traveling Dental Assistant (Traveling Role – Corpus Christi & San Juan Areas)

Salary: $15/hr (based on experience)
Status: PRN

About this role: The Traveling Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) is responsible for supporting the Dentist during treatments, exams, and treatment discussions with patients. This position is responsible for performing general RDA duties in collaboration with other team members. We are looking for team members focused on providing quality customer service and maintaining a strong professional relationship with others and a positive attitude. Needs reliable transportation.

Job Responsibilities

• Assist with consults
• Set-up sterile room
• Loading/Unloading OS equipment
• Equipment inventory (Binder)
• Set-up rooms with assigned helper
• Sterile
• Pre-op and Post-op Panos
• Escorting patients out
• Flipping rooms
• 4 handed assisting
• Assisting chairside for oral surgeon
• Monitor patients before, during and after oral surgery procedures

Basic Qualifications

• Texas Issued Registered Dental Assistant Licensing preferred

Schedule and Location

Early Mornings the day of Surgery days( Start time can be between 6-7 AM depending on the distance of the location)
Location: Traveling 2 times out of the month in the Corpus Christi and San Juan area.
