Job summary

United Surgical Partners International Inc (USPI) Haymarket Surgery Center seeks an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse (PRN) to join our outpatient team. The OR RN delivers perioperative nursing care for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients across multiple specialties in a fast-paced setting.

You will collaborate with surgeons and staff to ensure patient safety, advocate for the patient, and support instruments, sterile technique, and anesthesia care throughout the case.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Virginia.
• BLS, ACLS, or PALS as required by the center.
• A minimum of 1 year experience working as a Circulator.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care during surgery for adult, geriatric, and pediatric patients.
• Support perioperative processes across orthopedics, podiatry, general surgery (including robotics), ENT, gynecology, urology, ophthalmology, pain management, and spine surgery.
• Collaborate with surgeons and OR staff to maintain patient safety and procedural efficiency.
