Job summary

Enhance Rehabilitation in Rochelle, Illinois is seeking a qualified occupational therapy assistant to join our growing team. Working under the guidance of an Occupational Therapist, you will help implement individualized plans of care and support patients toward functional gains.

You will discuss treatments with patients, record their responses after each visit, and maintain continuous communication with the Occupational Therapist, Rehab Director, and facility staff to ensure coordinated care.

• With assistance of Occupational Therapist, develop and implement occupational therapy treatment programs based on each patient's particular needs.
• Assist patients with all phases of Occupational Therapy treatment and techniques.
• Discuss treatment with patients and record patient conditions and responses to treatments in charts after each visit.
• Provide continuous communication with Occupational Therapist, Director or Rehab, and facility staff.
• Operate and apply knowledge of standard occupational therapy equipment.
