Job summary

Denton Village by PureHealth is seeking a licensed Occupational Therapist to provide comprehensive OT services across inpatient and outpatient settings in Denton, Texas. The PRN position supports patient care plans, clinical reasoning, and supervision of assistants as needed, in compliance with Texas licensure and PureHealth policies.

You will evaluate patients, develop care plans, educate families, and document progress while coordinating with the broader care team.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited occupational therapy program.
• Texas OT license.
• Proficient English; strong communication.
• Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
• Willingness to perform inpatient/outpatient tasks.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care meeting department and professional standards.
• Evaluate and educate patients on prosthetic and assistive devices.
• Supervise/educate OT interns/students as appropriate.
• Complete documentation including evaluations, plans of care, progress notes.
• Schedule and manage assigned patient caseload.
• Notify supervisor of issues affecting care or caseload.
• Ensure timely, accurate billing and documentation.
• Identify equipment repair needs to maintain care quality.
• Attend and participate in in-service training.
