Job summary

Hireology is seeking a compassionate Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our in-house team on a PRN basis. Provide person-centered care focused on improving residents’ independence, safety, and quality of life through meaningful daily activities and functional outcomes.

The role requires an active Texas OT license and preferred SNF or long-term care experience. You will collaborate with an interdisciplinary team, document thoroughly, and support residents and caregivers with practical education

Qualifications

  • Active Texas Occupational Therapy license in good standing.
  • SNF or long-term care experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of occupational therapy treatment practices.
  • Experience with Net Health Electronic Documentation System preferred.
  • Ability to manage patients with varying personalities and needs.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Consult with patients to evaluate their condition and impact on daily activities.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans to maximize ADLs and IADLs.
  • Assess patients’ home environments and recommend modifications.
  • Provide training on adaptive equipment to support independence and safety.
  • Complete documentation in accordance with plan of care and regulations.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to ensure high-quality care.
