Job summary

Compass Health Network in Missouri is seeking a Nurse LPN/RN for the Crisis Center (BHCC) and Youth Behavioral Health Urgent Care on a PRN/as-needed basis. This part-time role offers nights and weekend coverage, with compensation of $36–$45 per hour.

You will perform nursing assessments, administer medications, provide education to patients and families, and coordinate care with an interdisciplinary team. MO NCLEX within 90 days required; LPN/RN licensure required.

Qualifications

• High School/GED required.
• Practical nursing certificate required or higher.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred.
• One year of psychiatric experience; hospital/acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing assessments and vital signs.
• Administer medications and manage injections.
• Educate patients and families on health and medications.
• Document care in the electronic health record.
• Coordinate with physicians, psychiatrists, hospitals, pharmacies, and community partners.
• Offer virtual nursing support to other Behavioral Health Crisis Centers, as needed.
• Mentor team members and uphold professional nursing standards.
