Job summary

Texas Health Resources, Inc. is seeking an RN III for Labor & Delivery on a PRN night schedule at Rockwall, TX. The role requires 1 year of RN experience, with L&D experience preferred, and valid Texas RN licensure.

Training occurs at the Arlington corporate office within the first week, with a schedule of 12-hour night shifts including weekends and major holidays. The department emphasizes a supportive team, governance structures, and advanced equipment.

Qualifications

• Nursing Diploma or Associate’s degree in Nursing required or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing preferred.
• 1 year experience as registered nurse required.
• 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience strongly preferred.
• Texas RN - Registered Nurse required upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care in Labor & Delivery per nurse practice guidelines.
• Support confidentiality and maintain patient privacy.
• Demonstrate professional behavior and healing environment for patients and families.
• Engage in shared governance and unit-based councils to improve care.
• Assist in responding to safety needs and prioritizing patient priorities.
• Collaborate with family/caregivers to support health decisions.
