Job summary

Avera Health is seeking a PRN Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for three Sioux Falls Acute Care locations. The role features part-time hours including nights and weekends, with on-site responsibilities at Marion Rd, Dawley Farm, and 69th & Western.

The position requires NP or RN credentials, DEA registration, and CN role alignment. Successful candidates join a multidisciplinary team focused on compassionate care and moving health forward for patients and families.

Qualifications

• Must have NP licensure and be able to practice in the state.
• Active RN license required.
• DDEA/DEA credentials as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose, and treat patients per approved protocol.
• Provide medical services and health education to patients and families.
• Collaborate with physicians on assessment and treatment plans.
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures per protocol and licensing.
• Maintain patient records accurately and securely.
• Uphold safety and infection control standards.
