Job summary

Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is seeking a Nursing Assistant I for a PRN, part-time role in the inpatient unit. You will support licensed nurses in delivering basic patient care, observe patients, document vitals, and help with routine activities.

Eligible candidates have a high school diploma or GED and Nurse Aide I training. BLS is required; prior experience is not necessary. Schedule varies; pay ranges per shift.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a Nurse Aide I training program/competency evaluation required.

Responsibilities

• Observes patient appearance and response to care. Reports abnormalities to nurse.
• Obtains and documents vital signs and patient information in admissions and throughout hospitalization.
• Maintains safe, organized patient care environment and assists with hygiene and daily activities.
• Assists in pre/post-operative care and supports nursing team as directed.
