Intermountain Health in Colorado is seeking a Neurosurgery specialist to help establish a Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital in Wheat Ridge and Lafayette. The role involves brain and spine surgeries with dedicated days at each site, Monday–Friday clinic operations, and strong multidisciplinary support.

Applicants must have an MD/DO, active CO license or eligibility, ABNS certification or eligibility, and experience or training in brain and spine

• Current, unrestricted CO license or able to obtain
• Board Certified or Eligible by ABNS
• Newly graduated Neurosurgery residents considered
• Trained in brain and spine surgeries required

About this role

You will be a part of creating a Neuroscience Center of Excellence at Lutheran Hospital and Good Samaritan Hospital where you will help build on an already solid foundation of a broad continuum of care for brain and spine patients. Here are just some of the highlights you can expect:

• You would practice at Intermountain Health Lutheran Hospital in Wheat Ridge, CO and Intermountain Health Good Samaritan Hospital in Lafayette, CO; occasionally seeing patients at Wheat Ridge and Lafayette Clinics
• Dedicated days at each facility; not covering two facilities at the same time
• Clinics are open 5 days per week, M-F
• Designated Neuro Critical Care unit and epilepsy monitoring unit with a strong nursing staff
• Growing Primary Care referral base within Intermountain Health Medical Group

How we'll support you

Our competitive compensation includes $2,360/24hr shift and $407/hr call back rate.
