Qualifications

• Associate's Degree in related field required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1–2 years experience required; ARRT certification required; Indiana State Radiologic Technology license required; Magnetic Resonance experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and advanced MR procedures and sequences. Positions patients and selects proper scanning protocols following established procedures.
• Screens patients and explains procedures; evaluates patient condition for exam.
• Inserts angiocath, performs blood draws and injects contrast when warranted.
• Observes vital signs during scans and assists if emergent care is needed.
• Maintains MRI room workflow, quality assurance, and cleanliness of coils and scanning room; ensures safety for patients and staff.
